This rivalry has always been fun for years. This year is great because both of these teams were 4A and 5A finalist in 2007 and both should be in the running this season. This game should be great, with Spanish Fork hot all season 20-1 vs Springville that seems to be better 15-5 since these two last played. I am sure both sets of fans want this game. Will Spanish Fork sweep the season series or with Springville tie it at a game a piece and leave us all arguing who is the better team.

Spanish Fork is the better team by a slight margin, but Springville is capable of winning this game. Even though Pleasant Grove beat Spanish Fork, Springville will not have the luxury of sneaking up on Spanish Fork because they are one of the best in the State. Cross your fingers for good weather ....... it should be great, this one always is.

Friday 05/09/2008! Greatest game of the year. If you missed it, its your loss. This game had everything, great hits great catches, heads up plays(bad calls by the Umps in my humble opinion ). There is so much to write about I don't know where to start. Both teams played their hearts out and not one kid wasn't trying as hard as they could play. It was senior day for the springville girls and every senior contributed to their win. Hudman's running catch, Kirkham's bat, Budge's double play, Tobler was solid at third, chalk's running catch, and of course Clark's pitching. All of the fans are proud of both teams and wish them well in the state tournament ( I'm just Glad Springville doesn't have to play Spanish again until Next year). Go Devils .

Let the arguments start, whom is the better team? I say just like I said last year nothing is settled a game for each. These teams are dead even, Spanish looked stronger earlier in the season, but now Springville has discovered their bats and they look strong with Clark in the circle. The Devil's are not going to break any Homerun records like Spanish but they have enough linedrive hitters to win games.
