Utah County Stars head North 6 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: -1
Teams from SLC are sure gobbling up the top p_layer_s, with these losses UC will struggle to field a strong U18 or U16 outside of the Payson Sting at U16 supported by Strong Manti p_layer_s.

1. Holm - Spanish Fork - Pegasus North U18
2. Ferguson - Spanish Fork - Pegasus North U18
3. Chappel - Spanish Fork - Pegasus South U18?
4. Clark - Springville - Utah Slammers U18
5. Elliott - Spanish Fork - Pegasus North U18
6. Mccray - Springville - Utah Slammers U18
7. Laird - Timpanogos ??
8. Bushman - Payson - Utah Sting U16
9. Mangelson - Payson - Payson Sting U18
10. Tuttle - ALA - Payson Sting U18?
11. King - Lone Peak - Utah Twisters U18
12. Adamson - Spanish Fork - Pegasus North U18
13. A. Zimmerman - Lehi -
14. Averett - Springville - ??
15. Giles - Pleasant Grove - ??

I can't see how anyone can overlook the Crush (or whatever name they go by this year) team in the U16. They're moving up, but they'll undoubtedly pick up p_layer_s that couldn't play last year in U14. They did very well in every tournament entered and have solid pitching and hitting. If they can keep the nucleus of the team together I know that they'll do well against any level of competition in or out of the state.

I have to be honest with you I did not see many U14 teams so lets hear more about this team.
From what High School Teams do they play?
Pitchers and experience?
Strong Hitters?
Team Speed and Defense?
Best Wins vs U16 teams in 2007?

But I warn you I see a lot of games and in my travels I see a lot of U16 teams and even though some of the top teams have moved up to U18 for 2008 there are a few strong teams for 2008.

1. Flames
2. Sliders
3. Xtreme (White)
4. Utah Sting (Payson and Manti)
5. Thunder

I have seen this team a couple of times in St George and they are a solid group of young ball p_layer_s it will come down to whom the pick ups are for their U16 season. They will need more experience from what I saw the last time I watched them in the Payson Tournament. I disagree with the statement that they can play any team in State and out because they are not on the same level with a team such as the Flames I think the Shamrocks of Spanish Fork are a stronger team but if you have 3-4 exceptional pickups who knows.
