DOCI think Harrison is a good p_layer_ .....but she is not the best in the state. After all this talk started about Harrison I have went to her last two games, and her play does not suggest she is the best. ALL of the plays at Mountain View are run to her with her taking A LOT OF SHOTS to get what few points she has gotten, comparatively. Houle BTW is the one who brought the Lehi coach over after he quit at Lehi, and an inside source, ( who does not have a daughter that plays at Mountain View, but is in fact a faculty member at Mountain View ) told me that Houle is very aware of what the Lehi coach does with the stats and in fact encourages it. Every High scoring athlete Houle can turn out and send to D1 makes him look good. Harrison was recruited, Houle hires his buddy The Lehi coach, Harrison gets all the plays called for her, The Lehi coach calls in all the stats, Houle looks good, Mountain View goes 5-4 against teams with a 17-41 records in their first nine games.....The ending? Much like last years, watch and see. 8)

Just wanted to end this year revisiting my prediction that I have quoted above. MV Bruins season ended much like it did last year!! Them "losing in the State Tourney".
So all you worthless Bruin fans go ahead and eat all the needless psychobabbel you gave me earlier in the year. Since I seem to have command of my crystal ball here is another prediction. Tune in to your so called "Star P_layer_s" career at Stanford and watch her blow up like she did in the final, ( or the last half of the season for that matter). Blue chip my Ass. She will get rolled in the PAC 10 fake hurt or some other tragedy and be lookin for a position somewhere else.
Have a nice summer.....if you can.
LATE,

Any word on how the club teams are doing in their spring tourneys? The Metro and Hornet rosters are posted on their website but nothing on Sky p_layer_s yet.

Now that SpFling and AAU are over does anyone have an opinion on the 4A/5A team(s) to beat next season? IMO Bingham and Skyline are the front runners with Davis, Brighton and Lone Peak in the top 5-7 teams. In 4A Timpview looks very strong. Didn' watch much bb the past few months so other's thoughts would be welcome.

I watched the girls LP/SpV game last night and was very disappointed. Not in how the girls played but the condition in which they competed. All 3 games were played in an annex gym on a court with 3 burnt out lights over one of the baskets, no sound system, a church quality score board, a seating area to small for the large number of fans, and my favorite - a student had to hold a toy sized flag at mid court while the national anthem was sung - btw the song was performed beautifully, she was the bright spot of the evening.

What made this situation even worse was the knowledge that, despite an unforeseen scheduling mix up, Springville HS officials couldn't muster enough leadership to move the boys JV game to the annex and allow the VARSITY girls to play earlier on the Main court. Unfortunately for Springville they lost all 3 games, not surprising given the level of non-support they appear to have. If Springville officials are going make the varsity girls play in the inferior gym at least make sure the lights work. Even your own fans were aplogizing as one of them said, "It doesn't get anymore getto than this."

Not to beat a dead horse but one more thing about the Spvl v LP girls game that was disappointing. LP traveled 40 minutes to get to the game and managed to bring its Cheer squads for the JV and V games. Spvl couldn't even manage to have their cheerleaders show up at home for even the varsity girls game.
